This is in line with an order issued by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, on Monday, April 13, 2020, that all movements in Lagos and Ogun States, as well as Abuja be locked down for an additional period of 14 days with effect from 11:00p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2020 to curtail the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.
This period is subject to further review and directives by the Government.
Members of staff on essential duties, such as Works and Physical Planning Unit (Power), Security, Faculty & Hostel Porters, as well as Medical Services, should be at their duty posts.
Members of the University community are enjoined to keep observing precautionary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Management strongly advises that members of staff and the University community should stay at home, receive no visitors and stay safe.
