This post tends to enlighten you on how to accept your admission on JAMB CAPS.
This is a development which started since 2017 in other to ensure accountability in the admission process in Nigeria. You might be wondering what CAPS means. Simply put CENTRAL ADMISSION PROCESSING SYSTEM.
This system allows the institution to send the list of qualified candidates to JAMB for verification. The students in turn accept the admission through JAMB, print their admission before proceeding with other important screening.
The question then arise, how do I accept my admission on JAMB caps? To have access to your jamb caps, you must have created a JAMB profile. How do you do that? Kindly click the link post below.

However candidates that have created their jamb profile but provided a wrong email, you have two options.
- You will have to visit the CBT regularly to monitor your admission.
- Download caps mobile from the Google playstor to be able to monitor your admission.
However candidates that have created their profile are to read the process below.
Log on to https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/ you will see the page below.
Provide your email and password in the box as seen in the image above and log in.
Click the year as seen and select SELECT EXAMINATION
Click admission status
Click the three dot above your browser.
Click desktop site
Click access my caps
Click admission status
Accept admission on Jamb
NOTE
This step is only for Android users. Iphone users are to autorotate their screen so as to have a better view.
• If you will be considered for admission, your caps status will change from not admitted to admission in progress. The admission in progress will span for days, weeks and most cases a month before it changes to admitted. The moment it changes to admitted, candidates are to click the accept button to accept their admission.
Candidates not interested in the admission can in turn use the reject button the reject the admission.
