Federal University Oye Ekiti Students’ Union, FUOYESU on Wednesday has given reason why the news circulated as the resumption date of students won’t be feasible for 2023/2024 admission session. YOMSDIRECT reports.
YOMSDIRECT in a press release by the Students’ Union confirmed this.
Recall that an academic calendar was circulated wide social media platforms, telling students to resume October 3, However the Union has debunked the information, telling students that no date has been picked yet for resumption as the institution is still mourning the demise of a student, Deborah Modupe Atanda who died within the school premises.
Consequently, the management is seeking measures to prevent another outbreak or similar occurrence, hence the delay in FUOYE resumption.
