Chef Damilola Adeparusi has unofficially broken the record held by certified India lady Lata Tondon who cooked for 87 hours, 45 minutes in 2019.
This came after she turned her gas on since Friday, June 9, 2023 at exactly 12 am without stopping, cooking for 87 hours, 46 minutes as of the time of filing this report.

Adeparusi has earmarked 120 hours Cook-a-thon to herself with less than 40 hours to beat the unofficial record held by Hilda Baci for the longest cooking hours in the world.
The FUOYE Student is expected to complete her Cook-a-thon mission tomorrow, Tuesday, when she may be declared as the Unofficial chef with the longest cooking hours.

Ekiti lady, Damilola Adeparusi nicknamed Chef Dami, a student of Federal University Oye Ekiti (FUOYE) has cooked over 50 meals since the inception of the Cook-a-thon on June 9, 2023.
Speaking with a a member of the cooking team on sunday June 11, Adeparusi has cooked over 50 meals so far and she is expected to cook more foods until she reaches the earmarked 120 hours.
